​On the morning of June 19, Zheng Yihui, Vice President of our partner institution, Taiwan Shoufu University, led his colleagues and six students to our college for a visit.Zheng was accompanied by Huang Wenchen, Head of the International and Cross-Strait Affairs Department, and Huang Zhonlin, Dean of the Leisure Industry College. Six students from that university will have a preliminary study at HNCST first and after that they will be doing their six-month internship from this fall semester

HNCST President Wei Yingbin and IECC Director Shang Zhiqiang met them in the meeting room.  President Wei introduced HNCST’s history, faculties, majors and recent achievements. They also discussed the further cooperation in details during the meeting.

After the meeting, President Wei gave them a tour of HNCST’s facilities, including the new cooking lab, Stone Tiger Animation Studio, Li Xin Cartoon Studio, the Creative Handcraft Shop, the Creative Coffee House and the students’ animation works.

The following day, IECC Director Shang took them to the hotels in Sanya where thesix students will prepare for a six- month internship in Sanya hotels from this September. They observed the hotel environment, the positions they are going to work and hotel dormitories.  “The hotels are very nice and the staffs are very professional. We are looking forward to our internship!” one of the students said.

HNCST signed a cooperation agreement with Taiwan Shoufu University in April 2016, and sent 11 students and several teachers there for short-term trainings in 2016.
